I see beauty in everything around me whether it is my son's sweet smile and big puppy dog eyes or the way the sun creates a warm glow across the corn fields on a hot summer evening. I feel like photography has helped me to find the small details in life that are begging to be captured and treasured forever.
My passion for photography started long ago when I was 13. I started scrapbooking and became obsessed with the way photos can be put together to create a story and truly capture the moment, just the way it happened. In high school, I took every photography and art class possible, spending hours developing black and white images in a darkroom.
Fast forward a couple of years I have graduated college and work as a Registered Nurse but after the birth of my first son I longed for a way to captured his milestones in a way that the mall studios couldn't. Everyone will tell you "they grow so fast" but you can't possibly imagine it until it happens. Now 18 months old my "baby" is not a baby but a crazy, busy little toddler that runs around, talks and is starting to become so independent.
In the beginning I wanted to learn photography just for myself but in August 2009, after much encouragement from friends and family, I started my business and have been going non-stop ever since!
